Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of cielowebdesign.com and to the web design services provided by Cielo ("Cielo," "we," "us"), a studio run by Ivan. By using this website or hiring us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Website Use

The content on this website is general information about our services. You agree not to misuse the site, try to disrupt or break it, or copy its content or design for commercial use without our written permission.

2. Quotes, Scheduling and Agreements

Prices shown on this site, such as custom websites starting at $500 and optional care at $100/month, are starting points, not binding offers. The final scope, price, timeline and deliverables for your project are confirmed in writing (by email or a written agreement) before work begins. If a written project agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement controls.

3. Project Scope and Timeline

A standard website build includes design, build, launch, and two strategy calls (a kickoff call and a review call). Most projects take about 4 weeks, but timelines depend on receiving your content, feedback and approvals on time. New features, extra revision rounds, or work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.

4. Payments and Third-Party Fees

• Payment amounts, deposits and due dates are set in your quote or agreement. We do not take payments on this website.

• Monthly care plans are billed monthly and can be canceled as described in your agreement.

• Domain names, hosting, website platform subscriptions, paid plugins, fonts, stock photos and other third-party costs are not included in our prices. You pay those providers directly and they stay in your name.

5. Your Content and Responsibilities

You are responsible for giving us accurate information and for the text, images, logos and other materials you provide, and you confirm you have the right to use them. You agree to cover any claims that come from content you supplied. You are also responsible for keeping your own accounts (domain, hosting, email) and their passwords secure.

6. Ownership and Portfolio Use

Once your project is paid in full, you own the final website content and design created for you, subject to any third-party licenses (such as fonts, templates, stock images or platform terms). We keep ownership of our own pre-existing tools, methods and know-how. Unless you ask us in writing not to, we may show the finished project in our portfolio and marketing.

7. Third-Party Platforms

Websites may be built on or connected to third-party services such as Framer, domain registrars, Google, or email providers. We are not responsible for their outages, pricing changes, policy changes or data handling.

8. Results and Limitations

We work hard to build websites that look great and help your business, but we cannot guarantee specific results such as search rankings, traffic, leads or sales. This website and our services are provided "as is" to the extent allowed by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cielo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service that led to the claim.

10. Changes, Cancellations and Concerns

If you need to reschedule a call, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. Either side may end a project with written notice, and you pay for work completed up to that point. If something isn't right, contact us and we will work with you in good faith to fix it.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new Terms.
